Autumn Air

Guess what we did last night? Put up Christmas lights up in our window! We are clearly excited even though its not even Thanksgiving yet. We’re hoping this isn’t a violation of safety or something because we love how festive they look!

This morning I woke up to a beautiful autumn day though it was super chilly. This is the kind of weather that makes me miss my fireplace at home. I considered running outside (for about .2 seconds) but decided to head to the gym instead for my beloved elliptical workout.

The second floor of the gym is mostly cardio machines. There’s a whole row of ellipticals, bikes, and treadmills along with some step machines. On the lower level and on the other side of the second floor there’s a ton of lifting machines, free weights, medicine balls, spinning bikes, mats, and more. There is so much to take advantage of! Check out the those beautiful TVs. With four different shows going on at once it’s hard to get bored.

This gorgeous apple was my post workout snack before heading to the computer lab to print out my paper on the dangers of artificial sweeteners and the role of protection that the FDA, contrary to popular belief, is not filling. I’ll take real sugar, maple syrup, or stevia any day thank you.

I had contemporary government and public speaking later in the day with a quiz in public speaking. Luckily the professor lets us out as soon as we finish our quizzes which is typically fairly early. Well, I’m grabbing some dinner and then it’s off to show choir rehearsal!
