Bittersweet Realizations

It is incredible that in exactly three weeks (and only nine of those twenty-one days being days of classes) I will be finished with my freshman year of college. I’ve met so many wonderful people and had so many fabulous experiences that the fact that it’s almost over is kind of sad. Of course I am more than excited to be done with paper writing and test taking for the next three and a half months!

From broadway shows, to basketball games, to concerts, to wonderful meals, to nights out with friends, to running in Central Park, this year has been more than I could have ever asked for.

All in all, I’ve learned so much about myself as an individual and this has led me to become a stronger person in so many ways.

Anyway, this morning I headed to the gym for a 4 mile run. I thought about doing 6, but by mile 4 I really needed to go to the bathroom! TMI? Sorry. After I went to the bathroom I did 30 minutes of intervals on the elliptical followed by some stretching. When I got back to my room I only had time to take a half shower and not not wash my hair. Luckily I have some headband scarf type things to camouflage that attractive sweaty mess!

I’ve have some fun plans for after class tonight, I can’t wait!

  1. Quick fix for a bad hair day is baby powder!!! although my boyfriend does say it smells bad…but at least it looks good 🙂
