Weekend of Work & Flashback Photos

Today was another early morning for me to make sure I could get to the gym for a 45 minute random terrain elliptical workout before work. Work was slow in terms of visitors but luckily my boss let me sit outside in the beautiful sunshine! He also let me borrow a book by Sylvester Stallone with awesome quotes like “enthusiasm is like a wonderful disease—keep spreading it until everyone’s infected.” and “only choose a goal—that if you had to—you’d gladly pursue for free. In order to achieve success you’ve got to follow your passion.” Those two quotes in particular really resonated with me. He also went into detail about his training and diets for the Rocky movies and Rambo and gave suggestions for how to get fit and healthy, it was totally up my alley and I loved it!

When I wasn’t reading, sitting in the sunshine, or be attentive to our (few and far-between) guests, what was I doing? Oh, just taking some pictures of myself:

Hahaha. When I got home I watched a little TV, played with the dog, ate, and scanned some of those photos I was talking about. So, here are just a few:

I’ll post more of my darkroom photos in another post!

Question: Have you ever developed your own film and/or printed your own photos in a darkroom? It’s something I really miss!
