Happy Thanksgiving!

“No winter lasts forever, no spring skips its turn.” I know Thanksgiving is a day to reflect upon what we’re thankful for, but I honestly reflect on just how blessed I am every day. I have never felt healthier or happier and I don’t take that for granted. I believe sometimes we need to go through periods of adversity in order to appreciate just how much potential our lives hold for personal prosperity.

With that being said, in addition to having my health and happiness I am thankful for all the opportunities life has given me and am beyond thankful for my amazing support system of family and friends. I love you guys!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Weekend Recap

After an extremely busy week, I was definitely ready for a couple of less stressful days.

The weekend included:

Treating myself to a new pair of Adrienne Vittadini shoes from Lord and Taylor!

Going to one of our favorite bars.

Going to the NYC Marathon expo (undocumented).

Going to Webster Hall.

Going for a 5 mile run.

Eating ice cream while watching Montana run 26.2 miles! (Actually, we only saw her at mile 25 and about 200 yards away from the finish.)

It was a weekend filled with belly laughs and awesome memories. Definitely a good time!

I honestly can’t believe there are only a few weeks until Thanksgiving and then finals will be right around the corner. The semester is flying by and I feel like my weeks are getting busier and busier, but I’m enjoying every moment of it!

Pan Am

I finally broke out my Pan Am stewardess costume for Halloween yesterday!

I had really wanted to go to the parade and out in the city, but we ended up going to another party.

I actually ended up having a really fun time though!

There’s nothing better than being surrounded by awesome friends, even if your feet are numb from wearing 4-inch heels.

I’m also glad I got to put my sewing skills to use!

Because today is All Saints Day and St. John’s is a Catholic university, we had no classes! However, I was still up early and ended up doing a lot of work in addition to cleaning, and grocery shopping with my roommates.
